Which is the best time TO GO MERIDA?
Venezuela has a tropical climate with two seasons, dry and rainy season. Mérida, with its tropical forests and moors, has a pleasant climate all year round. The best time will depend on what you want to experience. If you are looking to get to know the snow, the best time of the year is June and July, although the local people assure that there is not exact science regarding the snowfalls. On the other hand, if what you want is to know the paramo/moor, the dry season from December to May is a good option. Can I travel with children or elderly people?Yes, children and adults of any age are welcome. Depending on the age of the travelers, the experiences can be adjusted.

A private transfer will pick you up at the door of your hotel or house in Caracas to transfer you to the Maiquetia National Airport to take a 1-hour flight to El Vigía.
